Well, after a lovely weekend in Florence (updates and pictures soon to come) I find out I have an upper respiratory infection...(after the stomach bug that made an appearance during the wee hours of Sunday morning) I should have known this was coming because my voice has been coming and going since last Wednesday and I have been feeling very tired and run down.
The doctor was very nice and I should start feeling better as soon as my antibiotics kick in!
I realize this post is not all that exciting, but it is a part of my Roma experience. I can now say I've seen a doctors office in Rome, not that I'm proud of that, but I have to say, it was a heck of a lot nicer than some of the offices I've been to in America. (I think it was because there were very nice, comfortable leather couches and chairs...)
Needless to say, Rome never ceases to amaze me. Plus the area surrounding the doctor's office was actually very nice and I might just have to head back there one day and walk around (it's only a few metro stops from me). I've decided to see this day/ experience as just another way for me to get to know Rome. I have also utilized the Farmacia for it's true purpose and not simply going there to buy nail polish remover!
